Branksome China, Fordingbridge

ince it was founded in 1945, Branksome China has become renowned for producing well-designed tableware and superbly modelled porcelain animal studies. The finished china is unique high fired porcelain which is very light and thin yet extremely hard and durable. It is safe to use in microwaves, dishwashers and ovens. You can take the china-making tour, browse the factory shop, or find a bargain in the Seconds' Room.

 

Breamore House, Breamore

Set in its own beautiful parkland amid surrounding farms and fields, the grandeur and magnificence of the house has changed little over the past 400 years. The Elizabethan Manor House and Countryside Museum are open for visitors from April until the end of September.

 

Burley Villa, Horse Riding, New Milton

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned rider, young or old, they can take you Horse riding over 94,000 acres of the ancient lands of the New Forest National Park. Calshot Activities centre, Calshot

Calshot Activities Centre in Hampshire is one of the largest Outdoor Adventure Centres in Britain and is run by Hampshire County Council. Situated in a unique position on the shores of the Solent, its magnificent setting gives immediate access to the country's most popular Watersports location. Ashore, historic Hangars accommodate a state of the art climbing complex, the only indoor Velodrome in Southern England and a dry Ski Slope.

 

Dibden Golf centre, Dibden

Situated on the eastern edge of the New Forest and overlooking Southampton water, the superb facilities on offer at Dibden Golf Centre are open to the public all year round. There are two golf courses to choose from: an eighteen-hole and a 9-hole. Other facilities include a 20 bay floodlit driving range; a large well-stocked professional's shop; and a spacious Club House with bar, quality catering and function facilities

 

Eling Tide Mill, Eling

Come to Eling Creek, situated at the head of Southampton Water, where you can experience seeing tidal power milling flour on a daily basis. Just over the road from the Mill is the Totton & Eling Heritage Centre, which shows the history of the area from Bronze Age days to the present day. You can even sit in an air raid shelter and experience the sound of bombs dropping all around you

 

Exbury Gardens, Exbury

The Gardens are a spectacular 200 acre (100 hectare) site, world-famous for the Rothschild Collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias and rare trees and shrubs. This earthly paradise offers a riot of colour in spring, an oasis of tranquility in summer followed by a splendid show as the leaves change in the autumn. Discover Exbury's hidden beauty and escape the cares of the world as you explore a myriad of pathways. Let the train take the strain on a 20 minute journey or ride a chauffeur driven buggy to tour the Gardens.

 

Fairweather's Garden Centre, Beaulieu

Using passion and expertise Fairweather's have created a unique Plant and Garden Centre in the heart of Beaulieu, a peaceful, picturesque village in the heart of the New Forest National Park, Hampshire. Patrick's Patch is an inspiring, educational and productive garden that has been built adjacent to the Garden Centre in Beaulieu High Street- and it's free to enter! there is also The Hungry Gardener Cafe which offers home cooked food and a warm welcome. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a light lunch- it's a great place to relax and soak up the atmosphere of Beaulieu Village.

 

Go Ape, New Forest

It's not in the dictionary, but if it was, Go Ape would be described as a ‘high-wire forest adventure'. That means we build giant obstacle courses up in the trees using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire, and top it all off with the country's best zip lines (including the longest at 426 metres. The result is spectacular. The Go Ape experience gets the adrenalin pumping, gets people out of their comfort zones and above all (no pun intended), it's just great fun.

 

Highcliffe castle, Highcliffe

Highcliffe Castle is a Grade I listed building owned by Christchurch Borough Council. It was built between 1831 and 1835 by Lord Stuart de Rothesay. It has been described as "the most important remaining example of the Romantic and Picturesque style of architecture."

 

Hurst castle lighthouse, Milford on Sea

Hurst Castle is situated at the seaward end of the shingle spit that extends 1.5 miles from Milford-On-Sea. The end of the spit, only three-quarters of a mile from the Isle of Wight, and the views from the top of the centre keep are spectacular.

 

Lepe Country Park, Lepe

Lepe Country Park occupies a narrow stretch of land adjoining the Solent, just west of Southampton Water and south of the New Forest, and lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site affords superb views of the Solent and Isle of Wight and is rich in Natural habitats. Each year over 600,000 people visit Lepe to enjoy one of Hampshire's most popular Country Parks.

 

Liberty's Raptor & Reptile Centre, Ringwoood

Liberty's Raptor and Reptile Centre is named after Liberty our American Bald Eagle. This Hampshire bird of prey and reptile centre is located in the beautiful New Forest, where the art of falconry has been practised through the centuries.

 

Liquid Logisitics, Buckler's Hard

Longdown Farm, Marchwood

At this family run farm, there are lots of friendly farm animals to meet and with our daily schedule of hands-on activities there is plenty of opportunity to touch and feed them. Bottle-feeding kid goats and calves, small animal handling, duck feeding and meeting the pigs are just some of the activities on offer. There are lots of other animals to meet, farmyard buildings to explore and loads of play areas to run around in. Brilliant fun!

 

New Forest Cycle Hire, New Forest

The New Forest is undoubtedly one of the greatest places in the UK to come cycling. There are over one hundred miles of traffic free cycle routes, making it extremely safe for cyclists of all ages and abilities and most of the terrain is mainly flat (even though some of you will disagree if you haven't sat on a bike for a while!) The wildlife, fauna, great range of eateries makes this place an unforgettable cycling destination.

Bournemouth Oceanarium, Bournemouth

The Oceanarium in Bournemouth is top of the list of where to go and what to do in Dorset. It is a fun, friendly, all weather attraction situated on the sea front, next to the pier. The Oceanarium welcomes families, schools, educational trips, group bookings and provides disabled and wheelchair access. Visit the Oceanarium for a great day trip out for all the family.

 

Owl and Otter Park, Marchwood

Our Conservation and Wildlife Park is set in 25 acres of scenic and ancient woodland within the New Forest Heritage area that became a National Park in March 2005. As you walk about the Wildlife Park you'll see some of Europe's largest gathering of otters, owls and other indigenous wildlife all in their natural surroundings including, pine martens, badgers, polecats, mink, foxes, Scottish wildcats, deer, lynx, wallabies and wild boar.

HADEN is a 42 foot Nelson Motor Yacht, a classic design renowned world-wide for its combination of superb sea-keeping qualities, classic lines and versatile accommodation.  She will accommodate up to six people sleeping onboard and up to ten guests on day charters.  HADEN is fully equipped with a galley which allows meals and hot drinks to be prepared onboard, two toilets, showers, comprehensive sound system, DVD player and TV.

 

Sea Events

You can charter the "Nirvana" - a boat just under 40 feet long - from Sea Events for either a half or full day. Rates start from just £120/head for a full day or £80/head for a half day. She is MCA licenced for a maxiumum of 12 people, including the skipper and one dedicated crew.
